Hi Mite 3ers,

We’ll have our first game this weekend. Yes an actual game with referee’s! This is, naturally against what we were originally planning to have happen with our Mites this season. We were trying to have the Mites only play controlled scrimmages this season but different rinks along with USAHockey & CAHA have been in flux as far as incorporating ADM (American Development Model). So, even though, we as a coaching staff strongly believe the kids would get a better quality hockey experience if there were coach controlled scrimmages. We will only get a few these types of sessions and they will pop up from time to time. In short we will have a mixture of full ice and coach controlled half ice games along with and without referee’s. It will be interesting how the puck eventually drops for all of this, this Spring.

Regardless, we will do our best to provide your favorite hockey players the best overall hockey experience no matter what game/scrimmage format is decided upon by the powers that be.

Please bring a white and a dark jersey to all games.
